The 2025 Emmy race is officially underway, with the first wave of nominations just revealed this Tuesday morning on “CBS Mornings”! It’s an exciting start as the Television Academy begins to honor the best in television from the past year.

The full list of nominations will be unveiled at 8:30 a.m. PT by the talented Harvey Guillen (“What We Do in the Shadows”) and Brenda Song (“Running Point”).
Early Buzz & Frontrunners:
This year, all eyes are on Apple TV+ as they gear up for what could be a monumental year. Their critically acclaimed, twisty workplace drama “Severance,” starring Adam Scott, is widely expected to be a major contender across drama categories. Seth Rogen’s uproarious Hollywood send-up, “The Studio,” is also poised to be a heavy hitter, potentially dominating the comedy nominations for the streamer. Other Apple TV+ shows like “Slow Horses,” “Shrinking,” and “Presumed Innocent” are also generating significant buzz and could make a big splash.
