DK’s Back!
Nobody is pulling Donkey Kong’s strings anymore; he has shed his villain past or being a kart racer; in Donkey Kong Bananza, the big gorilla is the protagonist in the story. The game is set in a magical and colorful 4K world containing pathways inhabited by all sorts of interesting creatures that highlight the power of the Nintendo Switch 2. DK himself has undergone a significant upgrade; his eyes are more expressive, and his hair is more textured and detailed than ever before.
Donkey Kong Bananza‘s game development team is the same team at Nintendo that brought to life the critically acclaimed Super Mario Odyssey and you can certainly feel that influence in the gameplay. You are encouraged to explore large, open levels to collect “Banandium gems” and complete ancient ruin challenges, or you can follow the game’s mapped path with arrows if you liked to stay on course.
Familiar Voice, New Gameplay
Jonkeys As noted above, one of the big advantages is DK is once again voiced by Seth Rogen, who played DK in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Along with DK bringing back its iconic sound that will appeal, the game comes with a new feature – punching! Players can punch and use DK’s powerful fists to get rid of almost everything in the environment, and start to reveal new hidden treasures and paths.
